Our one and only bathroom was suffering from some water damage around our bathtub leaving our subfloor soggy attracting bugs and mold. We didn't have the funds to pay for a contractor so Dave and a friend took on the project themselves in one weekend. I drove the kids down to Kelso where G & G H. met me so that we didn't have to have the kids here during this project.
Before..
When I came home the same afternoon after dropping the kids off here is what our bathroom looked like.
After... :)
I am a follower of Jesus. I love life and have been blessed with the most hardworking, loving husband and six great kids. I created this blog to chronicle the things I have been learning, to share stories and pictures with family and friends who are interested, and to hopefully pass down a love of Jesus to my babes.

Happy 1000th day of life Ezekiel!
I can't believe I don't have a picture of these gorgeous beds yet. I will take one soon I promise. G & G Hueberger gave us their bunkbeds which were used for Uncle Joe and his buddies. They are practically brand new and sooo beautiful. They brought the beds up for the kids the second weekend in August which meant Lani's crib came down!
Our little girl at 19 months is going in her own big girl bed. I will take some pictures with that transition soon. It went really well and the kids LOVE their "new" beds.
The pictures I'm attaching are from the visit from G & G Heuberger. We also went to my parents house for dinner and celebrated Ezekiel's 1000th day of life. Papa & Nana Simpson thought it was important to recognize this and Ezekiel was very thankful for his cake. :)

August Wesport Camping Trip...
I felt pretty brave going on a camping trip with a 2.5/1.5 year old in addition to being 8 months pregnant. I was up for the challenge. We went with some friends from church and had a wonderful time despite the HORRIBLE weather. It rained the ENTIRE time, and not just sprinkles but sheets of rain. WE ended up leaving early because no one could fellowship since we were all just trying to keep our kids, ourselves and our things dry.
