Sometimes it's fun just to have photo shoots with your kids...then look back and see how they've changed. This was one of those days.

Oh Canada!

For our Anniversary this year Dave's mom and sister offered to watch the kids for us so we could get away for the weekend. We stayed in a condo in Vancouver B.C. near Stanley Park. We ate and ate and ate and ate some more, then slept...watched the Stanley cup (ironically we just saw the World cup in Mexico last year...apparently they follow us), ate some more and spent time exploring just the two of us. We are so grateful for that time to be renewed. Every couple needs it especially when you have little ones.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

May Highlights...

May was such a fun month! I threw a surprise birthday for my AMAZING husband, my nephew Logan Hunter was born, we celebrated Mothers Day and I got to hang out with some old friends and new friends this month.

Easter 2011

A good day to reflect upon His wonderful love for us, and His obedience to the Father.
Also to enjoy the little things such as doing an Easter egg hunt at Papa and Nana's house. Both kids did really well getting all the eggs in their basket.

Chinese Chowdown @ Golden Grill

My wonderful husband listened to the desires of my growling stomach and treated our family to Chinese No.1 & No.3 SON...and if you know your No. Sons that means a lot of food. It was thouroghly enjoyed by ALL

 

 

 

 

 

 

March

March was a month of changes for our family. Dave started a new job working for the City Of Tacoma, Matthias switched to formula (which may seem like it's not a change but it was), Lani developed an allergic reaction to soy and dairy, and I was helping watch a friends (7) kids along with my own. We also had our Honda Odyssey's fluid flushed and because of the incompetency of the mechanic the transmission went out within weeks. Fun things were we bought a MacBook, visited Mars Hill (the church we were council'd and married through), celebrated many friends birthdays and had family visit amongst the usual daily grind.

Winter...

Our first snowman of the year in mid January...my childhood friend Alexa, her baby (Violette) and her sister Ashley visited us. Ezekiel continued LOVING swim lessons, and Valentines Day was without power so we entertained each other with letter blocks and a trip to Costco.
